This course is intended for people who are planning longer voyages, including ocean crossings.

 

In addition to incorporating all of the SROCP course material, this course also includes information about MF and HF frequencies, signal propagation and voyage planning.

The Long Range Operators Certificate of Proficiency (LROCP ) course runs on a single day from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm. Available course dates will appear in the drop down list below. Course dates will be added from time to time.

 

Please bring the following items with you at the start of the course.

Pen, Pencil, Eraser, Vehicle Driver Licence and a colour passport size photograph.

 

There is now an online option for the theory exam. To take this option you will need to bring a laptop or a tablet.
